PERFECT DESSERT~MIXED FRUIT CUSTARD

After treating you all with killer combo,i thought let me add perfect finisher(word???)to it.So here comes my Delicious,creamy and rich dessert~Mixed fruit salad.

MIXED FRUIT CUSTARD
INGREDIENTS
Mixed fruit salad
Milk-1/2 ltr
Custard Powder-2-3 tbsps
Sugar-as per taste
Cashew nuts-hand ful
Dates-hand ful (sliced)
Almonds halves- handful
Cherries-for garnishing
Apple-1/2 (cubes)
Cadbury Diarymilk-For extra taste (optional)
PROCEDURE-
custard
Bring milk to boil and allow it to cool.Pour 1/4th cup of cold milk into a bowl,add custard powder and mix well.Avoid lumps.Now add sugar to milk and allow it to dissolve completely by stirring.By stirring add custard powder paste to milk.Add rest of the ingredients and refrigerate.
Garnish with cherries and diary milk bits and serve.
Serve chilled.
NOTE-Feel free to use fruits as per your taste.

KILLER COMBO~MIXED VEG PULAO & PANEER VEG MASALA

I am back with another combo Mixed veg pulao and Paneer veg masala (Paneer butter masala recipe loaded with veggies).Make your Sunday lunch delicious with this killer combo!!
What do you say???
MIXED VEGETABLE PULAO

INGREDIENTS-
Rice-1 glass
Coconut milk-1 glass
Water-1 glass
Cloves-6-7
Cardamom-6-7
Cinnamon stick-1 med size stick
Cashew nuts-3 tbsps
Vegeatables (carrot n beans)-1/2 cup (chopped finely)
Salt-as required
Green chilly-4
Sweet corn-1/4 th cup
Oil n ghee mixture-3 tbsps each and mix
PROCEDURE-
Heat this oil-ghee mixture in a pressure cooker and fry cloves,cardamom,cinnamon stick and fry for few mins,now fry cashew nuts until golden brown and then add all veggies,green chillies, including sweet corn .Now add salt.Cook for few mins.Now add rice, water and coconut milk and pressure cook.After 3-4 whistles off the flame.Remove.Mix all the ingredients well and adjust salt if necessary (add salt water instead of salt).Transfer the contents into a serving bowl.
Now lets come to Paneer veg masala cury's story.
This is paneer butter masala recipe loaded with veggies.
PANEER VEG MASALA

INGREDIENTS-
Paneer cubes-5o gms
Vegetables(carrot,beans,green peas and sweet corn)-1/2 cup(chopped finely)
Onions-3 chopped finely
Tomatoes-3 (small) chopped finely
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Cinnamon stick-2 med size sticks
Cashew and poppy seeds paste-1/2 cup
Cloves-3
Cardamom-3
Oil-5 tbsps
Salt-as required
Water-1/2 cup
Turmric powder-a pinch
Table butter-1 small stick
Cream-1 tbsp
Chilli powder-as required
PROCEDURE-
Heat oil in a kadhai and fry cloves and cardamom. Now add onions and fry until translucent,add tomatoes,turmeric powder and red chilli powder and fry. Add veggies and cook for sometime.Meanwhile heat oil in another kadhai and fry paneer cubes until golden brown in colour and keep it aside.Grind cashew nuts and poppy seeds into a paste and add it to the kadhai with veggies. Now add water, then salt and cook until you get the required consistency.Finally add paneer and butter.Mix all the ingredients and adjust salt if required.Transfer the contents into a serving bowl.Garnish with chopped coriander and cream.
Now you can serve this killer combo to your loved ones.
NOTE-Adjust ingredients as per your taste.

CELEBRATION TIME~BESAN LADDU

First of all i would like to ask you all about the cool new and refreshing look of Aathidhyam.Also would like to thank my friend Sandhya who gave me useful blogging tips and her valuable suggestions.
Now all is well (New song from 3 idiots).
I mean i wrote my exams very well and expecting 84-89% and i thank all my readers for their good wishes and support.
So why not celebrate the same. Here comes my Sweet celebration post~Easy to make Besan laddu

BESAN LADDU

INGREDIENTS-
Besan ~ Chick pea flour - 1 cup
Ghee ~ clarified butter-1/2 cup or less
Powdered sugar -1 cup/as per taste
Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp
Roasted cashewnuts- as required
PROCEDURE-

Take a thick bottomed kadai, heat ghee and fry besan flour till roasted. Keep stirring. Off the flame.Now add powdered sugar, ghee if required and nuts. Shape this mixture into round balls and garnish with roasted nuts.
That's all Boss!!!
Store them in air tight container
Note-Adjust ingredients accordingly.
